Demographics

As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 231 people, 128 households, and 62 families residing in the city. The population density is 129.3/km² (334.5/mi²). There are 148 housing units at an average density of 82.8/km² (214.3/mi²). The racial makeup of the city is 99.57% White, 0.00% African American, 0.43% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 128 households out of which 16.4% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 43.0% are married couples living together, 4.7% have a female householder with no husband present, and 50.8% are non-families. 50.0% of all households are made up of individuals and 31.3% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 1.80 and the average family size is 2.62.
